Slow dance in Delfshaven

A cozy afternoon spent at Delfshaven: walking by the canal, picnic in the park and having yummy pizza afterwards.

Lovely red mailbox

By the canal there was this Bar Pelgrim, which has history back to last century as a brewery and still is. All beer are home-made, other branded beers are available here as well of course. I had a "MAYFLOWER TRIPEL" and a "PELGRIM 1580" for Ken.

We had our interests caught by  the cat in the bar. It was so sweet and I started to play with it instead of enjoying my beer.

We've got some sour bread and French cheese prepared for an afternoon picnic and it was time to enjoy a little bit tasty snacks when we finally arrived Euromast park. Amazingly there were tulips blossing, right in front of the benches we were sitting at. Above us was some cherry blossom, not as fancy those in Japan but romantic enough when the petals fell of the tree from time to time.

The day ended in "the best pizza restaurant in Rotterdam"- "La Pizza". For me spicy salami and for Ken potato pizza. Sounds weird.. taste weird too I have to say. Mine was quite nice, a bit too salty but the slight spice was so yum with the crispy bottom!
