Yan & Cui | Bride and groom portraits | Bruidsfotografie Utrecht, Kasteel de Haar

Yan and Cui approached me asking for something really Dutch, something pretty. For this bride and groom portraits we chose Utrecht for the beautiful streets and canals, Kasteel De Haar not far from Utrecht and ended the day in a breathtaking tulip filed that we found on the way.

P.S. I've been asked why many Chinese couples choose to have a portrait shoot on a different day. Because there are tons of traditions to fulfill on the wedding day, with families, friends and guests. It's already a looooong day ahead of them, and it would be really overwhelming to squeeze sometime for portrait shoot on top of that.

It's worth it though as we could take the time and really dive into the shoot!
